About
Ring in 2027 over lobster at Crab House Times Square. On Thursday, December 31, 2026, from 8:30 PM to 1:00 AM, the seafood restaurant at 218 W 40th St, between 7th and 8th Avenues, hosts a New Year’s Eve dinner party with a 4-course family-style feast, a premium open bar and a live DJ spinning popular music. The venue is inside the Times Square barricades, so you’ll need your ticket to get through the NYPD checkpoints. Dinner is served family-style across four courses: Parmesan baked scallops, oysters Rockefeller, and mussels and clams marinara to start; soft-shell crab, calamari and octopus next; then lobster with Korean BBQ steak and mushrooms, mixed vegetables and fried rice; and assorted desserts to finish. Crab House calls itself the home of NYC’s finest lobsters. The party is open to all ages, so it works for families as well as groups of friends. Tickets are priced dynamically and go up as the event sells, so book early to lock in the lowest price.
